Resolute Women Campaign

There is a fire within all women and I want to inspire them to realise it and tap into that fire to live out their dreams.

"Starting the Resolute Women Campaign has been one of my greatest achievements."

Starting the Resolute Women Campaign has been one of my greatest achievements. Being able to give back in the little way I can, to help shape and change the lives of young women speaks to my core- it’s my calling.

I started my foundation in January 2016, almost 5 years ago. A lot of young girls especially in the underprivileged parts of South Africa, can’t afford the luxury of a Matric Dance. This is simply not a priority in a poverty-stricken home, and this may lead and promote other means of having such lovely teenage life experiences. My message is consistent, as senior women to Teenage girls- what are we doing to eliminate or reduce the chances of this happening. Besides leading by example and having women empowerment seminars for young girls- financial assistance in some way can really go a long way.

I have found it is not always possible to change every single life that is affected by poverty and abuse, but the few I have come across have touched my life immensely. I am a family-oriented woman and I always try to involve my children in the charity work I do- this is part of empowering them too and teaching them to always help, share and spread kindness in words and in their actions.

I have met and worked with amazing women in my journey of the Resolute Women Campaign- girls from different high schools in the eastern cape and Gauteng, safe haven for women and their children affected by domestic violence, as well as children homes with children of different age groups and genders. Roping in the boy child has become an interest to me, especially with the excruciating rise of Gender Based violence in South Africa- young boys need the focus too, we need to raise resolute boys that will become men of virtue and show love & respect to women and children.

I am extremely grateful for all the support I get for my foundation; I am looking forward to doing much more and continuing to make a change where I can. If you are interested in donating dresses, food, toiletries or any service to the Resolute Women Foundation- please follow my contact details on the Contact Me screen.

Love Always,
